This past Sunday, Hugo Ortega over at GottaBeMobile.com published an extensive video review of the Fujitsu U1010 / U810, which is a “convertible” UMPC (one of the first UltraMobile PCs to offer both a Tablet PC and laptop with a keyboard form factor). It’s also one of the first based on Intels A110 800MHz CPU with a 1.8″ 40GB Hard Drive (a considerable amount of storage given the size of the machine) combined with a 5.6″ LED-backlit display (widescreen no less, 1024×600).
The video clocks in at 39 minutes, it’s definitely worth looking at if you are interested in this device and I agree with Hugo – the future is indeed bright with these devices, although as James Kendrick points out, something has to be done about the CPU situation.
