Fujitsu LifeBook U2010 / U820 Press Release

Fujitsu U2010 U820 The day after the Fujitsu LifeBook U2010 / U820 was spotted at the FCC, a formal press release was issued by Fujitsu PC Asia Pacific.

We wondered about the FM module that featured so prominently in the FFC filings – turns out it’s there to allow you to use the U2010 to broadcast over nearby radios.

It does indeed have a 1280×800 resolution on its 5.6-inch display. They’ve upgraded the color selection to five colors: Ocean Black, Pink Gold, Cool Silver, Fuchsia Red and Luminous Blue. It has a 1.3MP webcamera and the Bluetooth connectivity has been upgraded to version 2.1. It appears to have a 1.8″ drive – storage options are 60GB normal/conventional, or 64GB SSD.

Battery life has been given a boost, with up to 8 hours using the 4-cell battery and 64GB SSD option (the Intel Atom helps as well).
