The new 12″ convertible widescreen Lenovo ThinkPad X200T Tablet has started showing up in the Lenovo store for US customers as the model 7448 (alongside the older X61 Tablet). This is the first major redesign of the ThinkPad Tablet series (the transition to widescreen).
It starts with a 1 year depot warranty, and there are additional warranty options available. The 8-cell battery will set you back an additional $50, however given that it doubles the battery life, it’d be well worth it. As far as the MultiTouch + MultiView display – that’s an additional $275 – that pushes the price up quite a bit, but fans of MultiTouch will want it.
