A German website, NetbookNews.de has a hands-on preview of the upcoming 10.1″ Acer Aspire One D150. Their particular model is the AOD150-0B, with these specifications:
– Intel Atom 1.6GHz N270
– 1GB RAM
– 160GB HDD
– 802.11b/g Wireless
– Bluetooth
– Windows XP Home
They’ve included some high-resolution photos of the unboxing, including a good shot of the D150’s underside, where you can see the various access panels (RAM, HDD, Wireless). From what it sounds like, they weren’t too impressed with the keyboard or the touchpad (my German is rusty though).
As far as making its way to the US – so far it’s still only pre-order at Amazon and J&R and a few other places. No release dates have been added in the past few days.
