2005 Engadget Awards – Lenovo ThinkPad X41 Tablet

Lenovo ThinkPad X41 Tablet PC
The Lenovo ThinkPad X41 Tablet won the 2005 Engadget Awards for both Readers’ Choice and Engadget Pick in the Tablet PC Category . The ThinkPad X41 Tablet was the first in the ThinkPad line to have Tablet PC functionality, has a 12.1-inch display, and is powered by a Low Voltage Pentium M (1.5GHz+).

It’s very interesting that a convertible ultraportable (having both a touchscreen and physical keyboard) won the Tablet PC category – one would have normally expected a dedicated Tablet PC, however the ThinkPad X41 Tablet did place fourth in our “Top 15 Ultraportable Laptops of 2005” listing.
