The
Lenovo ThinkPad X41 Tablet won the
2005 Engadget Awards for both Readers’ Choice and Engadget Pick in the Tablet PC Category . The ThinkPad X41 Tablet was the first in the ThinkPad line to have Tablet PC functionality, has a 12.1-inch display, and is powered by a Low Voltage Pentium M (1.5GHz+).
It’s very interesting that a convertible ultraportable (having both a touchscreen and physical keyboard) won the Tablet PC category – one would have normally expected a dedicated Tablet PC, however the ThinkPad X41 Tablet did place fourth in our “Top 15 Ultraportable Laptops of 2005” listing.
