IT Reviews has published a new review of the Fujitsu-Siemens LifeBook S2110, a lightweight AMD Turion-powered notebook with a 13.3-inch display (which is unfortunately not widescreen). It’s one of Fujitsu’s first AMD-powered “professional” ultraportables (‘S’ series = professional), and is 64-bit capable, and has the added feature of adding a second battery in place of the optical drive.

IT Reviews’ impression:

But the real strength of this notebook is its chassis and build quality…..A neat and tidy AMD Turion notebook that has excellent build quality and superb battery life. The screen and keyboard are great for business users

No word on availability outside of the UK. It retails for around £1,400 ($2500 USD), and weighs in at around 2kg/2 pounds (depending on options), and oddly enough, as IT Reviews points out, all of the ports are along the back of the notebook, rather than along the sides (PC Card slot and optical drive are all that’s on the sides).
