Review: Sony VAIO VGN-TX1XP Part 2 (MobilityGuru)

Sony VAIO VGN-TX670P
Harald Thon and Bert Töpelt have completed part 2 of a review for Mobility Guru, that covers the Sony VAIO VGN-TX1XP (known in the US as the VAIO VGN-TX670P). This time around it’s seven pages long instead of twenty-one, and it compares the TX1XP/TX670P against several other ultraportables (including another Sony).

The other ultraportables in the comparison are:
Averatec AV1050
Fujitsu LifeBook B6110D
Sony VAIO VGN-T350T
Toshiba Portege R200

They give it their editor’s choice award, saying that it delivers the goods, with an almost unbelievably long battery lifetime – up to 7.5 hours with a standard battery – as well as a future-friendly display, and unique, attractive design. Better yet, this unit weighs less than 2.75 lbs (1.26 kg) including the built-in DVD burner and a standard battery!
