TabletPC’Corner has published a review of the Fujitsu LifeBook P1510D. It is one of the most in-depth reviews of the P1510D ever done, with dozens of pictures to give you an idea of the size and how everything works together.
Please note: The review is in French.
Eric Mack has posted his Paperless Challenge Podcast, Part Three online.
It’s an interesting series, and although it’s focused on Tablet PC, it applies to the “convertible” ultraportables as well.
Darius Chang has a writeup for CNET Asia, about LG getting heavily involved in the notebook business (including the ultraportable market)
Some of the new models introduced include ultraportables (the LG LW20 Express and TX1 Express), and should be out in retail stores by the end of the month (the LW series is available now).
James Martin has put together the results of a readers’ survey for PC World, Your Favorite Notebooks, along with excerpted readers’ comments. They are looking for more readers’ comments/nominations. Out of the small sample this time around, two ultraportables made up half of the field, the Apple iBook, and the Dell Inspiron 700M . The only drawback mentioned for either, one reader commented about the 700M’s keyboard would be a bit small for a “large-fingered” person.
It is mentioned that the 710M is shipping.
