They mention the P1510 as replacing a Tablet PC, Notebook, and PDA, saying the beautiful ultra-portable LifeBook P1510 may just take the cake as the ultimate Tablet PC that isn’t a Tablet PC. Two weaknesses are mentioned, performance and battery life, but Fujitsu would probably argue that those are due more to the size than anything else – it would be hard to increase battery capacity or change CPUs without going up in size and weight.

Among the Tablet PC’s mentioned were several of the ultraportables: IBM/Lenovo ThinkPad X41 Tablet, the Fujitsu LifeBook 4000 Series, the HP/Compaq TC4200, Fujitsu LifeBook P1510, and the Electrovaya Scribbler 3000.

Screen wise, they mention is that Fujitsu uses what it calls a “casual outdoor” screen, a glass screen with a special coating that lets light pass through more uniformly in outdoor situations. and that it’s not ideal for pictures and movies; it is better suited for reading and writing, especially in outdoor situations.

Akihabara News has a new review of the Fujitsu LOOX T70M, a new model from Fujitsu that replaces their popular T75L and LT PC laptops. The T70M is powered by a 1.2GHz Pentium M Ultra Low Voltage (ULV), sports a 10.6″ widescreen display (1280×768), and comes with a 60GB hard drive plus a built-in DVD+R/Dual-Layer optical drive.
