Acer Aspire One – HD Version in the UK on the 18th (Amazon UK)

Acer Aspire One The 120GB hard drive version of the 8.9-inch Acer Aspire One has been available for pre-order in the United Kingdom for several weeks now. Just recently, Amazon.co.uk has started showing a release date of 18 August 2008 for the HDD models.

These are all 3-cell battery models unfortunately. There’s only two colors for now – Sapphire Blue and Seashell White, and you basically (on the HD models) get a choice of Operating System (Windows XP Home or Linpus Linux), and either 512MB or 1GB or RAM.
