In addition to their Apple Portable Computer Buyer’s Guide, LaptopLogic.com has published another guide, the Black Friday Laptops 2005 guide. If you’re not familiar with ‘Black Friday’, it’s a term used in the US for the friday after Thanksgiving. There are usually some incredibly good deals to get you in the stores, although there is usually only a small supply of sale items on hand (and people will literally wait in line for hours because of some of the deals, so they can be first in line).
While there are no ultraportables listed, there are still some decent prices (while the laptops themselves are not all that special). If you know of somebody looking for a budget laptop, you might want to pass that link on to them.
